Andrij Bondarenko

CV

was born on  June,22,1978 in Brovary near Kyiv. When he was 5 he began to create music, and in 1987 he won the first prize in Ukrainian young composer’s competition. He received musical education at Lysenko Special Music school in Kyiv and in National Musical Academy of Ukraine as pianist (under prof. V.Kozlov) and as composer (under prof. I.Karabitz).
Since 2000 year – a member of National composer’s union of Ukraine. Participated in the international composer’s workshops «Composer technic» (Ohrid, Macedonia, 1999), «Avantgardescwaz» (Scwaz, Austria, 2000), 2004 got stipendium “Gaude Polonia” (Poland).
Andrij Bondarenko has written numerous solo, vocal, chamber and orchestral works. His compositions won prices in I&M Kotz composer’s competition (Kyiv,1994), International composer’s competition in St. Petersburg (2003).
Also Andrij Bondarenko is well-known as a pianist. He won prices in Rachmaninov (Tambov, Russia, 1996), Horovitz (Kyiv, 1997), Lysenko (Kyiv, 1997) international competitions. Considerable place in his piano activity takes contemprorary music and music of ukrainian and russian composers. He collaborated with ensembles “het-trio” (Holland), “alea” (Macedonia), “kyivs’ka kamerata” (Ukraine), with conductors K.Karabitz, V.Blinov, M.Lysenko, plays as solo pianist.
